💼 What’s on Offer:

  • Pay: ÂŁ12.21 per hour + 15.55% holiday pay (equivalent to 35 days paid leave per year)
  • Contract: Fixed-term from Term 1 2025 until 4 July 2026 (includes a 6-month probationary period)
  • Hours:
  • Flexible hours available throughout term time
  • Vary depending on events, campaigns, and activities
  • Hours are not guaranteed
  • Location: Warwick SU (on campus) + wider University campus

🧠 What’s the Role?

As an SU Ambassador, you’ll be at the centre of student engagement — connecting your peers to everything the Students’ Union has to offer. You'll:

  • Represent the SU on campus and online
  • Help promote events, services, and campaigns
  • Create original content for TikTok and Instagram
  • Distribute materials and support external promotions
  • Bring a creative spark and friendly face to all things SU!

You’ll be working closely with our Communications & Marketing team, supporting year-round initiatives that get students excited, involved, and informed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: SU Ambassador 

RESPONSIBLE TO: Creative Content Coordinator and, through them, the Communications and Marketing Director

RESPONSIBLE FOR: None 

MAIN PURPOSE FOR JOB: To connect with students across campus and online, represent and act as an ambassador for the Students’ Union.


MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To act as a brand ambassador for the Students’ Union
  • Delivery of SU publicity on and at SU events
  • Use word of mouth to increase interest in and attendance at SU events
  • Support the general member engagement and marketing activities of the department
  • Distribution of promotional materials
  • External client social media promotion on SU’s Instagram stories
  • Like, share and comment on SU social media posts
  • Create social media content for the SU’s Instagram Stories
  • Create social media content for the SU’s TikTok channel
  • Manage the SU’s TikTok channel

EXPECTED STANDARDS

  • Efficiency, effectiveness and tidiness in delivery of material
